Pay as you go plans

Who's got the best PAYG plan?

I'm currently on orange where I top up by £10 and get 300 free texts and free internet (100mb i think). A bit sick of the rubbish reception with orange and so thinking of going to o2 - do they do the same plan? I don't quite understand if they take the £10 off for the texts/net whereas with orange you keep it and so can use it towards calls etc.

If you join Text & Web you still keep the credit like Orange and you get 500 MB Internet where as you said it's only 100 MB with Orange.

You get 300 texts the same as Orange..

Of course, you don't get Magic Numbers but that's fine if you don't call people often on Orange.. If you know a lot of people on O2 they have "bolt-ons" that could make it cheaper also to call or text.

Giffgaff - £10 goodybag (a bundle) gets you 150 (currently 250 on promotion) mina, unlimited text and unlimited internet.

Uses O2 network so coverage is good. Get an existing member to refer you and you get £5 free credit when you activate your sim with a top up (pm me for more info).

Try Giffgaff as mentioned before. £10 unlimited text, unlimited internet, 250 mins. Their max plan is £25: 1500 minutes, unlimited texts/internet. You can buy either a 'goodybag' (the deals I've written about) or you can buy call time credit. You pay for the goodybags and it's not added to your actual credit. If you buy a goodybag and then go to call someone, the minutes are taken from the goodybag first.

I don't mean to sound patronising but thought I should clarify that in case you got confused. I'm sorry if I have.

If you'd rather go for a well known company then check out O2 PAYG Simplicity. Something like £10 gives you unlimited texts, 500MB web (you're fine if you want to browse facebook constantly) and 100 any network minutes. Simplicity takes the £10 off your credit.

With Three, check out The One Plan. For a £25/mo contract (Sim Only I might add) you get 2000 any network minutes, 5000 texts, and unlimited data.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: I gave info about the Three plan without looking into it properly. I thought it was a one month rolling contract, but turns out it's a 24 month contract. I'll leave it there anyway.

You also missed the 5000 3-to-3 minutes.
