Just a quick question will a cut down sim work in a activiated tmobile pay as you go iphone4, lots of mixed answers around the net

I haven't tested it so I cannot say for certain but in theory the answer is - yes. Virgin sims will work in tmobile phones, but not the other way round.

Thanks for answers, the only reason as I have been waiting 2 weeks for a sim free one from apple, and trying to get to pick one up with reserved slot from a store is impossible.

So bit the bullet, walked in and got a t mobile one today, cut my sim with a sim cutter noosey on, had a pratice on old one knocking about, really close shave with this, right on the edge.

However success, works fine, virgin came up, 3g on, picture messaging works fine, activated and synced with itunes no problem.
