iPhone 4 Orange pay as you go Question
I bought a new iPhone 4 today on Orange pay as you go but I can't seem to connect to my internet at home on it, even though I am putting in the correct password. I am wondering if it is because I am still in the process of my current number transferring to my new phone. I have been told to carry on using my old mobile phone until I lose signal and then to start using my new iPhone 4. Has anybody come across this before? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Your phone may need to be added to the router access control list. If so you will have to add your iphone mac address to the access list. You should then, be able to access the wireless network.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give that a try if it does not resolve itself once everything has transferred over to the iPhone. Please could you advise if you know how I can access the router access control list?

logon to the router (type into a browser 172.168.0.1). Go to wireless settings, depending on router make..there shold be an option to setup access control list
