I used to have the beta version of Norton on my Desire purely because it came with a good call and text blocker but it was too unreliable.
I always have antivirus on whatever smartphone I get - 'security through obscurity' is not good enough protection for me. All the ones I've used have had protection against rogue apps so they do serve a purpose. |

I've got the lookout app as it can give your location of your phone and admit a sound if stolen or lost
