File Sharing with HDR Fox T2

Hi there,

I've wired my Humax HDR Fox T2 into my network via ethernet cable directly into the router.

When I hit the media button on the remote, and attempt to access the network, after a few monents I get a error saying 'Server not found'.

But I can use the TV Portal 100% - but this is not working? I'm, using Windows XP and have allowed file sharing (with full rights) on the content that I would like to be made visable.

Any suggestions on a solution to the problem would be great!

PS - I'm also having a problem accessing shared folders and files on a netbook I have running Windows XP - is the solution to one problem the solution to both?!

It isn't file sharing that you need to enable. If you are using Windows Media Player then you need to enable Media Sharing from the Library options. In Windows 7 (and I think Vista) you turn on Media Sharing from the Network and Sharing Centre.
