![]() Still,Iv'e always though the best idea would to have a 'stab vest' perk so it takes at least 2 stabs to kill you. I'm amazed that this hasn't been put in to black ops after the complaints from previous games. |

That could fit into the Flak Jacket perk.

well I dont use the AK74u, in fact dont think I've even tried it.
I run around with Famas or AK47 and later Commando. At the moment I'm trying out the FN_FAL, though this one maybe is more suited to sniping I feel. |

1 new zombie map 4 rehashed old maps from single player assets - No gameplay/weapon tweaks BC2: Vietnam New maps All new guns New sounds New vehicles New player models New voices - Extensive class balance tweaks That's real value from COD...and that's how it will stay, enjoy having less. |

Multiple people mentioned BO gets a lot of hate on forums, so if your point is correct, COD is boring.
As if that even matters...COD players hate BC because it isn't COD. It isn't trying to be. Battlefield has a different focus, it always has. Battlefield 2 blows away all mentioned games, and hopefully 3 will as well. p.s. BO and BC2 were reviewed equally highly http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_of..._Ops#Reception http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlef...ny_2#Reception If you compare specific sites, BC2 was rated higher by reviewers. |

BO gets a lot of hate because its inferior to what came before it. You could play the MW games all night, but with blops you get bored after a while.
I know a few people that got BC2. They don't have it any more. Swapped them. And they aren't CoD fanboys either, just part timers. Edit: I should point out that i don't really care about CoD vs other war games. Its stupid. You like what you like. |

i cant speak for the other platforms but its really only taken stick from the PS3 side due to them, for whatever reason, not beta testing that version at all. At first looked like they ported it through some code convertor and released exactly what came out. They have gradually fixed the majority of it but even today isnt 100% The game has much more in it than any COD beforehand and in my opinion is the best COD to date. |

I don't like BFBC2 not because it is like COD I didn't like it for a number a reasons such as
-75% + people just sitting sniping -Unbalanced teams. You can be put in to a game with 1 or 2 people against 7 or 8. -Spawn Camping. Happens all the time especially on the map where you start at the top of a hill. -Spawning on a player and dying straight away as the camera does not allow you to check behind you. -Over powered choppers that you have to dedicate a lot of time to the game to be allowed the privilege of been given the tools to allow you to bring them down. -Being able to do damage to the boxes from miles away with a tank as people know exactly where they are. -Not being able to tell anyone on your team where enemies are unless they are in you squad. Yes I know you can spot but I mean when someone kills you and you are a 20 minute journey to get back to where you were. -Half you team making a queue to get to airstrike building or the computer. BFBC fanboys are worse than console fanboys. I cannot remember ever seeing a thread regarding cod where some fanboy doesn't feel the need to bring BFBC in to it. COD is nowhere near a perfect game and I am not trying to defend it but it is no worse than BFBC. I put plenty of hours in to BFBC and was trying to love it like others but found far more frustrations every time I play than ever in a cod game. If they got the above points sorted out I would give it another try as it's not a bad game just not the amazing perfect game the fanboys try to make out it is. I know half of the points are because of the poor online community but on COD you do not have to rely on the community as much or have as big teams full of muppets spoiling your game. |

I don't get why people constantly try telling COD fans to buy Battlefield. I personally prefer COD. I just don't get on with Battlefield. I though COD4 was amazing. W@W had a great solo campaign but I didn't really play online. MW2 was great online until all the hacking began. Then Blops had a good solo campaign and a really solid online as well. I don't really know what people want?!
I will probably be getting MW3 and I will be getting the new Blops maps, but split with a friend. |

I was told the same thing, about the campers (sorry, i mean snipers) and the shit spawning. I don't need that. Things are bad enough on Blops.

Though they are very different games, you'd be stupid not to bring BF games into a discussion. They are competing products. |

I think some people have forgotten that EA was the 'evil empire' of gaming now they are being over shadowed by Activision. |

Everyone's entitled to buying whatever they want, and I'm sure if more people read gaming websites and forums, they wouldn't buy the COD maps. What Activision has done for the gaming industry is both good and bad. They have done terrible things to game developers like Bizarre Creations, and they've limited innovation with the Call of Duty series, but to get as many casual gamers into the market could be seen as a positive.
People buy the FIFA games every year and there isn't so much arguing. I've decided that buying it each year isn't feasible in the long run, so I'm giving this year a miss as Black Ops is a great game and split-screen online zombies and multi-player is great. I got too frustrated by MW2 as well and sold it. I enjoy Bad Company 2 more than Black Ops as well so it just makes sense. |

But the thing is it affects everybody. The COD consumer base set a precedent, they proved it was commercially viable to charge premiums for shite in return.

That reminds me. New map packs are out in a few days. Sweet. Been sick of the same two zombie levels.
How much is it again? £11.00? I doubt i'll starve if i buy it. I think i have a ton of money unused on there (PSN) anyway. |
