Blackberry Internet Services Down?

I have had problems with my Blackberry for the past 8 hours, mainly with blackberry messenger. Some messages are taking a very long time to send, others don't seem to be reaching the people I am sending messages to at all. Also, the internet is running very slowly on my phone. I have been with a group of friends this evening, all with Blackberrys, 1 other person is experiencing the same problems, but with a different model and network.

Is anyone else experiencing these problems or know if there is a problem with the blackberry internet service?

When I connect to the Orange network my local area in Altrincham I seem to have problems with no Blackberry provisioning in the area so the only way I get round this is if I connect to wi-fi.... I would do that in the short term as blackberry services still work over wifi (on any network).

there are some issues with BIS but blackberry have sorted this now and they dont know what it was

I'm still having problems with Blackberry messenger and internet. Messages are still taking ages to send and receive. I have noticed that I am not receiving a 3G orange signal, whereas normally I would where I am at the moment. But even when I don't have a 3G signal or the bb coverage signal, messages do still send.

Vodafone's network is completely dead currently in the Basingstoke area.

Hi Mab,

If you are still having problems with your Blackberry my suggestion would be to give Customer Services a ring on 150 from your phone or 07973 100150 from any other phone and report the issue to the fault team who can run through a diagnostic on the phone with you.

was on the phone for 40 minutes trying to get my internet sorted - I am on dolphin, have appropriate credits and everything else works fine apart from internet. when i am at home with my wifi signal, i can use internet and when i use orange world, i am in my account most of the time.

so - orange techies couldn't help I assumed it was unique - their best advice was take the battery out when still on, remove sim and replace both. didn't fix nowt.

pleasant enough lads, but no solution. for-sure.

try manually putting it on tmobile, it will work
