Does anyone else have problems with their remote control , the batteries do not last anywhere near as long as any other remote and approx every couple of weeks the remote doesn't work- the PVR button flashes rapidly until I take the back off - spin the batteries and then press the PVR button and its ok again .

I have the same and have found that if I tap the top of the remote into my other hand it then starts working again. Very odd or some bad soldering inside?

Sounds like it's faulty to me. Mine's fine, still on it's original batteries and I've had it since last September. It gets regular daily use, controlling TV, amp and occasionally DVD as well as the PVR.

Interesting. Mine has the exact same problem. I just put it down to needing new batteries. I've not changed them since I bought it last September.

Spinning the batteries or tapping the bottom of the remote temporarily fixes it as you describe. I wonder if the batteries are just not making contact properly.
