Few people I know in the Bracknell area are having issues with the network, not being able to make calls, texts or use data etc.

Yes, since early this morning, there has been a major outage, at least in the South East.

It appears to be a server problem preventing logging onto the network.

None in Basingstoke, or Bracknell, or Andover.

That's what they have said, whether the 'break-in' story was true or not I don't know lol

Oh good its not just me then.

Be nice if they actually put something on their website about it.

Nice to see that they have a fully redundant network.

Nothing in Oxfordshire as well. Would be nice to know it was down via email. It was only because I went on Facebook I knew that it was not a problem with my phone.

If the break in story is accurate, it's a concern about their physical security at that location. Furthermore, this appears to be a single point of failure. Not great disaster recovery!

All networks are as bad as each other at times.

I really like Vodafone.

Anyone with a Vodafone sure signal able to confirm you can use your phone via that at the moment while the normal coverage is down in the south east?

Also, You can log into Vodafone's website and set call diverts if your inbound calls are important.

I'm just finding their service really poor lately and some of their CS agents are total muppets.

In my experience nearly all of them are. Hopeless company.

My father has a business phone on Vodafone that's had problems, he hates Vodafone with a passion. He struggles to get a 3G signal in rural areas where he covers and sometimes even in the city.

His HTC HD2 has had a variety of issues that Vodafone are clueless about and even when we went in their store, they told us they didn't have any idea and to try across the street in Carphone Warehouse!
