Reviews have been mixed. Some of the critics just don't like the Wizard of Oz, no matter how well it's done. To be fair, Dan herself has not attracted much criticism. Even those who don't like her call her 'competent'. Of course, I think she was much better than competent.

Quite a few critics think the show lacks heart, whatever that may mean.
