I have just bought a 1TB Foxsat hdr direct from Humax. I have worked out how to get into the hidden menu to non-freesat mode and added Astra1 19.2 E and Hotbird 13E. Although I only scanned FTA channels there is a lot of rubbish. I can delete channels one at a time but I would die of boredom before clearing all of the tat. Is there a way of deleting multiple channels at the same time? I can't find out anything about this.

You can delete a screen full at a time - tick all and then hit delete.

I might be blindingly obvious but what I can't work out is how to 'tick' or mark them

Press the ok button

actually you can advance further than just the page on view, you can delete multiple pages worth by pressing the up or down channel button, then once you've made your selection press the relevent delete button

Thanks to both of you for your help. I'll try it later.

I thought I tried that and while it repainted the screen I got the impression that it only actually deleted the ones on screen.
I did also mention I did start with trying that and spent a good 10 mins deleting and deleting but when I pressed exit the box rebooted - so I did three or four pages at a time then exited and saved before deleting some more.

I feel a bit stupid now. I was trying to edit the channel lists via the list button instead of the menu - 'doh'.

I had done the difficult bit in setting up the diseqc etc and missed the obvious!
