OI!
![]() Chill out the lotta ya! ![]() This is my grand child (LMAO!) and I don't want it to be nasty! ![]() Ack Premium - I took a wee gander at your forum, it looks the bees knees. I was going to join then realised I just don't play as much as I used too so there would be little point. Nor do most that are currently active in this thread I imagine. As Arrow said, it's currently more about having a wee word or two about the "old" days, which indeed they were considering this thread (or the other one) was started in 2007. As for your wee quip about it being doubtful that it WAS more fun, than your one currently is, it was unnecessary to be fair, and a matter of opinion which one will give the most enjoyment. Yours is a brand new one, and I hope that you get as much enjoyment out of it now as we did then and still currently do every now and again. And I hope you can go back to it in 4 years time and reminise over these days when it first started. Because that's mainly what's happening here. ![]() As Gareth pointed out, there are still DSpy members that DO play online, but they don't tend to come to this thread anymore. But if they do come back, then I'm sure they will see your generous invite and have a wee gander like I did just for something new. I hope the forum takes off in a big way for you, I really do. It would be a nice thing to see

How many comments and indeed whole threads get brushed aside, its a forum where people reply if its relevant. If you think your that important that all your comments should be acknowledged in some way then maybe you should take a step back and think again.

I don't have a problem with this thread. In fact I am (or was) enjoying reading it. What I didn't like was the way he was brushed off. Third time I have said now. I am not moaning about anything else but that. |

Nobody is saying this. I think you need to step back and look again.

I am not moaning about anything else but that. I explained Arrow and Gareths comments and Arrow even explained his own. You invited people to come join your forum (which to be honest, I'm not even sure is allowed within DS, but you and others have done it multiple times now so it looks like that rule has been relaxed). No one meant you any harm. And your invitation still stands. Relax!

Talk about brushing aside certain comments because they don't suit what you have to say.

It's the way when his comments were replied to that annoyed me. Also, you all seem to be thinking I am talking about my own posts here? Why? I am not defending myself but indeed someone else. Edit: It isn't my forum or indeed clan. |

We're not really a clan in the competitive sense. We play online for a laugh whether we win or lose. If there's enough of us we go private and do stuff like knives or flamethrowers only.
Quote:
Don't you just love the feeling of people ignoring you. Down with you and up with them, though it's the exact same.
Quote:
I didn't really mean it in that way. Nor was I mean I felt ignored. What I mean is the brush to the side comments.
Example, someone said something about this being a big thread it's spawned a kid one. Then DT says the dsGB one is bigger. Somebody then says this one was more fun (doubtful). And on the other occasion, DT suggest you lot join dsGB. You turned around and say you don't do clan games. Sorry what? What is this thread and Dspy? Then DT commented that we don't play competitively either, just do the things you do for fun. That's what I'm getting at. You (and others) just completely brushed off what he said. Sorry for the rant. ![]() Reading the above. The first comment quoted wasn't responded too. Why? Because there was no one individual that wished too. That doesn't meant they're being ignored out of maliciousness. And it also doesn't mean it wasn't read and noted. You then step in with a sarky comment (as quoted secondly) and people respond to you with nice comments, and having to defend why they didn't happen to respond to that first one. And then because their answers didn't suit you, you carried on. If you enjoy reading the thread, then why not just continue doing that. And if someone posts something you feel is being ignored why not respond to them and start a conversation regarding that rather than take offence at the fact two people who were conversing in here actively when they happened to post didn't respond to something? |

*Getting flashbacks to 2008/2009 and the downturn of this forum*
![]() So you didn't like the manner he was replied to? Well I'm sure were all sorry you feel that way and didn't intend it to be like that. Simple fact is a few of us having been talking about the past and trying to arrange a nice get together again. We were then given an offer to join the others, said we don't really do the whole clan thing and went back to our original topic. If you think we brushed him off I'm sorry but please don't think it was done out of spite or rudeness. Please don't turn this thread into something else which caused most of the regular members to leave the other year. |

Why would I want to do that? Most of the people replying back to seem tohave not understood me. Tough luck. There you go. Anyway back on topic. ![]() Good luck on your meet up again. And I never did find out why that lad started crying?

I have already said it wasn't the fact nobody replied to his post. I could have made a better choice of word, granted.
I have said over and over since though that it was the way he was replied too, twice. That is all. Are you for real that you actually put "That is all" at the end of your post? I have tried to be reasonable in my responses to you. You will now be placed on ignore. The rest of the thread contributors can respond if they wish. |

I also made the point of saying "because their replies didn't suit you" thus adding to the point of ignoring a post.

I know know this. At the time and until your first reply, it seemed different.
The middle paragraph. I am NOT moaning about you lot talking and playing each other. Why would I want to do that? No one responded as because there was nothing to add to it. I honestly think your making an issue out of nothing. Can we just drop it please? |

Not saying you would. Just saying that we all moved back onto the main topic of conversation from the last couple of days after saying we don't do the whole clan scene. Way I read it we were given the offer, we then said we don't do the clan scene we just did it for fun. Then told that dsGB do it just for fun too, so because we didn't reply to that (which I assume is where this whole surreal issue has spawned from) we were seen as brushing him off?
No one responded as because there was nothing to add to it. I honestly think your making an issue out of nothing. Can we just drop it please? In my last post also I tried to bring this thread back on topic.

Its good to see darkthunder has kept a dignified silence through all this. Well done to him for that.
![]() I'd say 90% of my posted go witout acknowledgement, probably due to the fact I'm so negative all the time and never seem happy ![]() Couldn't care less though, its fun when someone does reply. |
