I don't know what was up with the connections last night, but we sure did have some dodgy games.

In a way it is a pity COD4 doesn't have host migration, but considering how many ADHD sufferers seemed to be on last night I don't think we would have managed a complete game anyway.

From what I saw there were about 2500 people on TDM and around same on Hardcore TDM, about 1000 on Hardcore HQ and then a couple of hundred players each of the other game modes. Not bad for a 4 year old game thats had 3 sequels... It's just a pity that half of those players are running around no scoping with sniper rifles.

Stil it was nice to see everyone back on and having fun.

No if only Monk will get a working headset and Minni will stop downloading dwarf porn while she's playing we'll be all good.

How did you know?!

Yeah was a shame about the connections really. But before it started making me dizzy I had a good laugh watching everyone flit from one spot to the next.

I got in contact with Reaper, and asked if he would like to join us next Sunday, and he said he would try. I explained that it wasn't to be a regular thing, just a couple of one offs.

Are you guys up for trying again next week?

Yup, I'm up for that.

I had a lot of fun last night, brought back a lot of good memories for yesteryear. I surprised myself with how quickly I remembered how to play the game and end up top of the leaderboard among us lot a few times. You guys are getting real rusty as I always thought I was rubbish compared to you lot

Do you guys all play BlackOps together now often? It is kinda tempting me to get that game just for the banter and fun.

Yes I think that's why it was nice. It was like old times. Trying to remember some of the phrasing I used to use made me feel old cos my memory wasn't playing ball!!

Dragon and Monk play Blops together with a crowd of others.

I pop online occassionally to play and usually play with other people on my list.

Jedi - can't speak for Well apart from the fact that I usually drag him online when I get on!

Be worth it for you to get to play with Monk and Dragon etc.

I'm just glad I got on last night. Was a lovely reminder of what we had before

I have to say, playing COD4 with you lot ruined other online games for me Whenever I play some other game like MAG on the PS3 I just get bored so quickly as no one is talking and having a laugh. Last night reminded me of what makes Live so special if you get in with a group of good people. We really need to try and meet up often again, even if it's in other games like we did for a while on Burnout Paradise.

I may have a look and see how cheap a 2nd hand copy of blops is.

I have a working headset thank you!! I just couldn't talk lost my voice

Enjoyed last night, even though I never got to play a full game.

So it's Friday.

Are you guys still keen for another Sunday evening meet up?

And the people that couldn't join last week - will they be THIS week?

Guys, I'm not going to be able to make it on tonight. Getting over a dratted cold / mild flu that's been plaguing me all week So currently wrapped up in 500 blankets on sofa watching something to do with the war on telly (not my choice!!)

I got a new router as well and the connection speed went up by Virgin, so I should've been flying!

But oh well. Che sera sera.

I hope you all have a ball. And I'm sure the connection will be better for COD4 tonight. Just have a feeling

Update here afterwards please!! I may as well live through you!!

Some rather fun games had tonight, connections were hit and miss but in the most they were good, encountered the odd player with modded controllers shooting pistols like they were ak-47's but what can you do when Xbox Live don't do nothing anyway
