It is hard to believe the game and this thread are nearly 8 years old and i was only 26 years old at the time. A very sobering thought indeed.
Its a shame about this forum too. It was a great forum back in these days. Its to bad how it went downhill and is pretty much dead. Though it seems be a trend around the web of old sites i was visiting at the time. |

The hype with cod4 and mw2 seemed to be a lot higher than it is for more recent games. I can remember posting on a thread and then it being on page two five minutes later . Also I remember loads of us booking the day off when the new maps were released.

Hard to believe it's nearly 10 years ago. Time flies. Hope most of everyone that took part in the thread are doing well now. (Sadly I know of at least one that passed away). Merry Christmas 2016 to all that read this post! (a day later! *insertrollingeyesmiley* )

I've not really played CoD since MW2.
Still think CoD4 was the best game. Would have got remastered but not interested at all in Infinite Warfare. Might boot up the old CoD4 and give it a go in the next few days. I'm sure I still have my old save where I was stuck on the Pripyat ferris wheel level on veteran. |
