I think both Australian seral dramas should be included in these awards, maybe of a category of its own.

Yes, seeing as they get get as many viewers as Hollyoaks. They should probably have one or two international categories for them. Like the BRIT awards have international awards.

They used to have a Best Foreign Soap category. H&A won it in 1999 & 2000.

I like that idea. also what springs to mind is maybe a 'Best Supporting actor' one name whcih springs to mind is Irene Roberts and Susan Kennedy, so undervalued and underrated. I've always beleived that the austrlia soap should be part of the soap awards.

Its easy more soaps involved, more drama

Lets hope that all soaps are somehow included rather than the Neighbours start coming over just to hand out an award to a british soap actor

I'd like them to change how they do Soap Awards nominees, instead of the usual starting with whichever 3 actors the Soaps themselves pick. To make it more about those who deserve it even if that means 1 show has 1 nominee and another 4 etc.

Give shows more chance like Home & Away/Neighbours/Doctors & even River City/Pobol Y Cwm as with Iplayer etc they are shown all over UK.

I'd even make more of the awards voted by judges, as theres always complaints with viewer ones. Plus i'd make the 'best soap' change to 'most popular' or even do a judges vote best and we vote for popular

Neighbours and H&A are included in the National Television, All About Soap and Inside Soap Awards, so I think that it's okay for them to be excluded from one ceremony. Don't forget that in Australia they are eligible for a number of awards too. You've got the Logies, the AACTAs, the writer's guild and the director's guild.
