I assumed there was a delay between Davina's voice being transmitted to us and the hms, and over the loudspeakers to the crowd. Even after the last name was read out, the crowd noise was going up and down as though they were still hearing the list...

Edit: And there was one group of voices who booed everyone!

Good point. I watched both the C4 where you hear it from outside the house, and the delayed feed where you hear it from inside the house. On C4 it was obvious that, although a little slow off the mark, the booing was for Michelle and just overlapped to Nadia, but on the E4 feed the booing sounded as if it started with Nadia's name.

no the booing was from davinas mic, because she was standing in the crowd not in the studio. so the boos were as she said the names.
while the booing began after michelles name it became dramatically louder as nadia was named. however that is likely to be due to the crowd being slow and the majority of people beginning to boo as others had, and that delay meaning it came over nadias name. however it didnt stop until stu was named, which is weird.

Exactly. That means that the hms would hear Davina's voice and the crowd noise in sync, but the crowd still had a delay on what they heard from Davina, so they were slightly behind what was going on.

i see what you are saying but no they wouldnt, the pa would be immediate to the crowd. they would have heard her without a delay. so the boos and the naming would have been in snyc and the hm would have heard it as it happened.

Now talking about places they want to go post BB. Jason wants to travel round Scotland, then the rest of the UK as all of his holidays are always spent abroad.

Absolutely beaming & Daddy Bass's eyes shone with pride when Davina asked Michelle about telling the HMs, in code, about the big secret under-the-table whatever. "That's my girl!", said his beam, "You'll make us rich!"
