Hi Forum

I wonder if anyone can advise me....

I'm trying to watch a program on BBC iplayer via my Wii but it is not coming up on the console.

I know the progam is available as I am currently downloading it to my desktop but we really wanted to watch on a big screen.

Can anyone tell me if the Wii version is limited and if not how I would update my system so I can see everything that is available online.

Thanks in advance...

What program is it and was it broadcast this evening? If so then it may take a little longer for it to arrive on Wii.

The program was on BBC3 on Wednesday.

As I said I can find it on the online version...

I thought that might have been the issue but I wasn't asked for age confirmation when I downloaded from the internet....

LOL I would think thats totaly relevent as maybe thats the reason as I've just checked on my Blu Ray player and it comes up with Guidance: strong language and disturbing scenes. Maybe unsuitable for young audiences.
Which is hardly keeping in with Wiis family image.

only used iplayer on my Wii a few times and I'm pretty sure they don't restrict any programs due to the content, there are occasionally rights issues with some shows although h doubt that would be the case here so more than likely its just a mistake

I doubt there are rights issues - I've often found programmes being days late (have mailed the bbc before now) and some programmes don't get shown on IPlayer at all but in years of watching iplayer on the wii I've never known there to be a difference in the content.

(that noticeboard is just a general forum not a Q & A)

I'm trying to watch "The British at Work" on the Wii from BBC2 Thursday night and its missing. Can't think of any reason a home produced documentary would bstopped from showing on the Wii.
