i configured my humax remote to my new bush lcd 40" by putting in the code at the back of the humax manual . Everything works ok, volume channel search recording etc .Just the recordings i kept and " locked" them on the previous tv set up still call for the password and when i put in default 0000 which i know it is , the tv screen goes blank and i have to change the channel on the humax remote sourse button to get the freeview to show again so in effect pressing any number on password turns the channel over to tv freeview

I don't understand, particularly:
as the Humax PVR9150T remote cannot be set to control any other device...
Although what appears to be happening is that the numbers for the password entry are causing the TV to exit the AV-input mode. Try covering the TVs remote-receiver sensor if you can find it (usually under a dark red window on the front of the TV below the screen) whilst entering the Humax passcode.

The Humax 9150 remote is incapable of being programmed to control any other device. As a result there are no codes in the back (or any other page) of the manual.

So what exactly do you mean by this?
