I am running my sagem dtr94500 to a denon amplifier but when I turn on the systems I have to turn off the mains for the sagem or it will not find the signal, any ideas.

When you say no Signal is that a message generated by the Sagem saying "no satellite signal" or just no picture from the Sagem?

Is the connection from Sagem to your Denon amp via HDMI cable?

there is no picture or sound and it is connected via HDMI. When connected staight to tv there is no problem. The sagem is not leaving a message, the tv says searching for signal but does not find any. I then turn off sagem from power supply and back on then tv finds a signal.

I have a Sagem dtr94500 that is connected to a Sony DAV330 surround sound system, and if you read the Sagem instruction manual it tells you to either use the analogue phono audio connectors or, better still, use the coaxial (toslink) audio connection. If the Denon only has an optical input there are a number of coax to optical converters that work fine (its what I use for the Sony).
ps donīt forget that you need to set the TV for HDMI input selection otherwise you get nuffink. Otherwise use the Scart connectors.

Is the TV set to the HDMI input from the Denon Amp or is it auto selecting?

If auto selecting perhaps when you power up the Sagem it selects the HDMI input.

The sagem works throught the denom amp then via HDMI to tv. All works well until I turn them all off, then when I turn them all back on I have to turn off the sagem 94500s at the mains or the tv does not find any signal. With the sagem straight the tv via HDMI no problems. Problem only happens when connected to denom amp.
