I have a problem where my HDR-Fox T2 can see my Windows 7 Media Server fine, it can see and stream the videos but it cant see any Music, I am changing the media type to Music.

I have Panasonic G20 and that can access all the Music and Videos no problem so I dont think the Server is the Problem.

It was working fine, My Humax is on ver 1.02.07 and I have tried a factory default reset.

Any ideas what I could try?

What format (.wma, mp3, aac etc) is the music stored in?

It's all mp3

I go to Media, Music, change storage to Network

It finds the server, I can open the server, choose Music

And then I see nothing just the option to go back.

I dont even see the folders for Music

I had the exact same problem using Twonkymedia server in my NAS.

After a while messing about with the Humax settings etc i restarted the Twonkymedia server and the files all showed up, so try setting the Humax side of it again and then restarting your media server.

Solved it in the end, I think the problem was because my Music is not stored in a profile folder so wasn't being shared properly, I added a share to the Music folder and it's fine now. it's just odd that my TV could stream fine as it was.
