When looking at the Guide what does the blue stack of documents mean on the line above the date/time?

I thought it might mean Series Link but now I'm just confused. This icon appears against Unsolved Mysteries on CBS Reality but I have never been offered the option of recording the entire series. It also appears alongside 'The Story of Science:..' on BBC Four but I don't get the series record option for that either.

Both of these items have Series Link available on Sky so is this a box or Freesat problem?

I've tried several other items and it's very hit and miss (more miss than hit) as to whether I get offered the series record option.

Both working fine on my humax

The problem turned out to be confusion between pressing [Record] and pressing [Ok]. Maybe Humax could think about changing that aspect of the UI as it's not very logical. It's particularly confusing for Sky + subscribers since [Ok] for a Sky box just sets a viewing reminder.

I agree.

The two buttons don't even work in a consistent way. Very poor UI design. It's obviously not a Humax strong point.

Pressing Play to set a Watch Timer and Record to set a Record Timer and OK to display a menu of available options is the one true way.

I'm just too stupid to appreciate the Zen beauty of it.

You mean the magic key that you would expect to give you all available options at all times but mostly says Φ ?

Perhaps Sky could change their reminder?

Strewth, no. The fewer changes Sky make to their box software the better. At least with Humax there's a good chance that official releases will be an overall improvement. Sky's last official release nearly crippled my box. It was only saved by a beta release
