Aldi HD Ready TV Aerial
http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers...uys3_17884.htm
I wonder how many people will be fooled by the 'HD Ready' part of the advert? As far as I'm aware there is no need for a special aerial to get HD transmissions? |

How can you expect to get HD pictures without an HD aerial?

However, I would say I'm not sure that a German grocer is necessarily the place I would go for such a key bit of kit for my TV system?? Fine place for German beer and other german grocery products (other German grocers are available) but as for TV aerials perhaps not. To be fair, I guess their product people just repeated the spiel they got from their suppliers. ![]()

Nowhere near 32. Would not fancy its chances for a long life fitted outdoors either.
Virtually as good as plugging a chocolate teapot in unless one lives within sight of the TV mast. |

The antenna in question is mass produced and re-branded. This exact same antenna under a different name sells for £39.99. Also it is weatherproof and is no worse than another antenna that might happen to cost 3 times as much. |
