To all, I think I've found my new phone and will take the plunge into the smart phone world. You see, I'm a bit old fashioned and still like using a keyboard. I've tried using colleague's ouch screens phones but I just get myself worked up using them. Silly I know!

Anyhow, the phone I have gone for is the HTC Desire Z. Its basically like the Desire but with a keyboard. I'm not too bothered about the newer HD element.

My problem is that I'm on O2 with my current phone and that has excellent coverage where I am, TMobile/Orange struggles where I live as well. It seems O2 doesn't stock this phone either in the shop or online. Tescos doesnt do it, it seems Phones 4 U does but they seem to get a pretty bad rap when reading some of their comments.

Can someone recommend where I might be able to get the HTC Desire Z safely (!) Dealwise, would be looking for at least unlimited texts. Anything over 300 minutes call time would be pointless and data at least 500mb for no more than around £30-35 a month.

Thanks in advance.

http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/mob...-Z/MONTHLY/NEW

you might have to pay a bit for the phone to get the tariff you want, though if you go via Quidco you could get £40 cashback to cover the outlay for the phone.

EDIT:

Quidco also available though you could get the £25.53 tariff with free phone and just add the data bolt on for £5 p/m to make it a £30.53 tariff with free phone.

Cheers for your help, its really appreciated.

Would I need to do the bolt on seperately with o2 once I got the phone or can I do it on the website above, if so I'm going blind and I can't see it

I think you might have to do it with o2 afterwards.
