Hack for LG HX995TZW Home Theater system

Does anyone have a hack to make this HT system region free please? I've tried the usual Google searches but to no avail. LG support say they understand that there are solutions on the Internet.......but if there are I can't find them. Many thanks

Have a look at http://www.avforums.com/forums/blu-r...iregion-hacks/ You might need to use a hack from a similar generation LG deck

How weird, I posted in here with the suggestion of using the so-called "hack" from another LG HT system but it's vanished.

Obviously some mods don't understand that region-coding is a non-feature and that removing it is entirely LEGAL.

Thanks Chris - I've tried the suggested methods but without success. The 995TZW is a little different from the norm as the DVD/DR player is incorporated into a small central console that sits under the TV, there is no separate player. Upon starting the system a series of icons is displayed on the TV screen(setup, source,Netcast, Homelink, etc.) and the display on the console is simply text reflecting the on-screen selection. I've asked LG if the incorpated player has a different model number - but they say this is a new player and the only model number is that of the system, i.e. HX995TZW. So, I guess I'll have to wait for one of the clever techies out there to find out how to get around this 'inconvience'. Thanks again.
