T-Mobile contract question
GoldenGoddess

Hi. Have had a contract with t-mob for initially 18 months. When I rang to discontinue (after my contract ended) they said to stay with them I can continue to have the same plan for £20 instead of £25 for a year then it will go back to the usual price. I said ok this this although I havent seen a difference in my bill. They said I could cancel this at any time.

Does this mean Im still not in a contract and I could for example call up today and cancel the contact (7 months later) or by agreeing to this £20 a month to stay on I have signed on to another contract.

Also if all is well and I was to be allowed to cancel my contract would I be able to have the exact same usage I have now for 18 months or will it be 24 months seeing as its the same deal. I need a different phone my phones had it but I cant afford to just pay out for one right now but I dont want to be in a 24 month contract.

Thanks for any replies.

You are free to cancel whenever you like. They have just reduced the price as a temp measure and are hoping you will stay.
If you want a new phone, why not call and ask what they can give you as a free upgrade with the same allowances as you get now? Also stress that you're wanting no more than an 18 month tie in.
