Blackberry Internet problems, mobile data and wifi just stopped working!

I have a BB 8520 on Orange Dolphin 15 with the BB data and email plan for an extra £5 a month.

I'm aware that BIS has been down for the past week or so and mine sometimes worked and then kept dipping, like BBM, emails or my FB/Twitter apps weren't loading any new updates unless I was connected to the wifi in my house.

My Services Status says the following:
Mobile voice
Status: available
Connection: Mobile network
Blackberry Internet Service
Connection: not connected
Blackberry Enterprise Server
Connection: not connected
Mobile network: gprs (lower case, I have noticed there seems to be an uppercase option too?)
Mobile network provider: orange
Wifi network active profile, SSID and type: all 'not connected'

I haven't changed any settings on my phone, they just seemed to have stopped working. Is this a BB problem or Orange? I don't know how to sort it but it's driving me crazy not having access to my emails or social networks as my internet at home broke the other day too!

Is there anything I can do to get it working again? Even just connected to the wifi would be a big help! Obv I'd like BB net to work too as I pay for it.

Eta: I don't know if it has anything to do with it but this happened the day that my phone contract came up for renewal, surely they wouldn't just automatically stop it? There doesn't seem to be any options for me to connect it though.

Call up Orange and ask about it.
Considering it happened when you're contract was up, sounds like you no longer have BIS provisioning on your SIM [gprs in lowercase is indicative of no data provisioned]

Simple as that thanks!

it might sound stupid, but how do you get BIS? i am on dolphin and now realise that it means i can get some interenet free through the orange home-page (but not otherwise) - at first, i did get general internet and I think i do get 'gprs' in the top corner by the signal strength, when not on home wifi.

I did two phones at the same time - one for my wife and one for me - hers still gets BIS - but I can't remember what I did differently when setting up the two PAYG accounts.

Call Orange.
They need to provision the SIM with BIS for you to use it.
