I recently purchased the Sumvision Cyclone mkv Primus media player so I could have all my videos in one place. It is a really good media player but it is missing couple of features which I regularly use with my dvd player.
These are the features I need from a media player –
1. Must have a zoom function. Must be able to zoom into an area of the screen to a number of magnifications and then move around the screen while it is still zoomed.
2.Must be able to pause video playback and then advance frame by frame through the video(while still paused) – it has to be frame by frame not jumping though every couple of frames.
3.Must be able to play FLV files.
4. It would be good if the player could be connected to the USB or network port of my computer to upload files to the player rather than just using flash drives for upload – but it is not absolutely necessary.
5. Must have hard drive installed to store files or a bay for a hard drive to be fitted.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a media player that would do the above? I would not like to spend more than £150 on it, hopefully a lot less than that! The most important things for it to have are the zoom function and frame by frame playback.
