We need more information.

What connections does your computer have?, just VGA (monitor), S Video or HDMI?. (or even Displayport, DVI etc.). Check your user guide for what it has.

We need to know what inputs your projector has too. In the past most had VGA as they were mainly designed for computer use, then manufacturers started adding video inputs too. But some modern projectors are designed for home video so some don't have VGA inputs now. Again check your user guide if you aren't sure.

You can buy cables that look like this http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/i...AV18417-40.jpg

They're absolutely useless though if your VGA and jack sockets are too far apart. At which point you realise you should have bought... separate VGA and audio cables lol

Nigel, many projector do have audio inputs and built in speakers. It's less common on home cinema projectors though
