changing price plans on 3

Hi, has anybody managed to change price plans to the new one plan on 3 mid contract, as i have just phoned up and asked to do this, to be told that they will only change if i was upgrading or renewing my contract, even though in their help section on their website the first line quite clearly states this "You can move to one of our selected price plans of equal or higher value at any time during your contract", so has anybody manged to change plans and this guy did not know what he was talking about, or is it true, the tariff i am on now is for £35 but i would get alot more for my money on the one plan, which is also £35, especially as i have an iphone 4 and this new tethering thing has come in the new update

You can upgrade 1-3 months from the end of your contract (depending on length of contract). Sounds like you signed up before the 'one plan' was available???

I think the wording "You can move to one of our selected price plans of equal or higher value at any time during your contract", means 3 can choose which plans you can move to...

The operative word here is "selected". It is entirely at 3's discretion which plans they allow you to move to. Guessing the One plan isn't one of them.

sorted it, sent them an email with the relevant quote in it, they phoned me back today and i have now got the one plan tariff, for £2 more a month at £37, but that aint bad, aas to get the one plan for £35 per month you are supposed to pay £69 for the iphone 4, which i already got for free, so the extra £2 for the next 20 months is sort of meeting them in the middle
