Is yours the mini type? I love my mini processor. I’d be lost without it now.
I have a mini one already, which is really handy for smaller quantities. The one my dad gave me is bigger, but has loads of attachments He only bought it last year but doesn't use it, so passed it on to me

Tonight, i'm going to have a quesadilla with caramelised red onion, peppers, cheese aaaaand anything else I feel like chucking in.

I had a change of plan last night and make chicken in white wine sauce instead.

Having the ribs tonight instead

I was toying with the idea of buying belly slices but went for the ribs instead. I saw a show where they made Chicharrón Colombiano and it looked really nice.
The chicken sounds great, I love chicken. TBH, I was sure what Chicharrón Colombiano was, but after checking it out, it is a very fancy name for something so simple. Looks delish though! You'll have to let me know how your ribs turn out.

Seems you are set for all occasions now! When you said that the processor your father gave you was 'cute' I thought it was a mini, because that is what I thought when I got my first mini.

Going out to Bella Italia with people from uni at a whim. Definitely going to have a dessert too.
And then going out clubbing out after. Then will probably get cheesy chips on the way back.

Not going to be a healthy day so am having a homemade chocolate banana muffin now.

How did the ribs turn out? I hope you enjoyed them.
They were very nice but I did over do it on the rub. It was on the verge of being over powering but luckily i'd had a couple of cans

I made slaw and it was excellent, nearly better than the ribs.

I forgot to cook the onion rings though. They are still in the fridge. oops

Gammon & pineapple tonight

Chicken stuffed with sage and herb stuffing, wrapped in bacon. Probably accompanied by potatoes and mushrooms.

I was just looking at a recipe and spotted this linked on the side of the page.

It may suit you
Roast squab pigeons with rosti galettes, baby leeks and a wild mushroom fricassée

change of plans. O#h os going to be late so make a thali I found on good food although I am adapting the tarka dhal recipe as it seems bland and also adding items to the saag paneer as also seems bland.

I'm also going to attempt my own home made naan bread eeek. I have some recipes b ut it looks quite tricky. Will baking soda be missed if I don;t add it? I might print off a roti recipe just in case

You need some raising agent. If you don't have baking powder do you have instant yeast?
or even just self-raising flour?

chicken curry. I made it yesterday. I didn't realise how hot it was until tonight!

I think I might have gone overboard with the curry powder!

Sounds great even without the onion rings! Your gammon sounds good too. I haven't made that in a while. Do you use gammon steaks and brown sugar in it as well?

That recipe looks delish and I love Michael. That will definitely suit me! I don't remember seeing that on Saturday Kitchen and I watch every week. I must have missed one. I've copied the recipe and put it in my menus. Thank you for that.

As I was out all day with my MIL I made Greek chicken today in the crockpot before I left this morning.

Well I am now 'home alone' for the next two weeks so I'll be cooking for one

Tonight I am going to do a warm new potato salad... (new potatoes in Pesto with green beans, sugar snap pea's, cubed courgette and red pepper)
