The HDR keeps asking for the password when deleting a channel (via the opt button), which is time consuming when deleting a couple of channels. Is there a way to enter it just once and the have the ability to delete without password confirmation?

I know I can delete multiple channels via channel list but there are 2 problems with that method.

1. You can't watch the channel to make sure it is blank.

2. If I try to delete too many channels at once, the box crashes and reboots. Does anyone know the maximum channels you can delete in one go?
I normally only have to do it once after a retune when there are loads of encrypted channels.

Thanks.

I assume the OP means the Humax. I would like to know the answer to this too, and echo the OPs irritation about having to enter the password every time I want to delete via the OPT+ button.

I prefer using the setup channel editor - Why did you choose to include encrypted channels on your retinue?
The same bug seems to exist in the setup channel editor - I found it would do 2-3 pages without crashing.
I find that there are so few non-freesat channels that I might be interested in that it might be better to manually tune them.

I included encrypted channels because I was hoping some may be unencrypted by accident.

Normally I would do a manual tune but sometimes I like to start again.
