DVD Recorders - A Question About Indexing

HI,

I am planning on purchasing a DVD Recorder but I don't want the issue of having to put in the recorded DVD into the machine and then have to put it on picture search to find the scene or episode of something I have recorded.

Is there a make and or madel of recorder that will allow me to create a cene slection index, as well as a top level index of episods of things that are on the disc?
