great end to one of my favourite albums of all time! can`t believe this was released in 1994!

is such a shame this group had so many set backs and personal issues.

I would love to see someone like Chilli or T-Boz do Dancing with the Stars in the US, because not only could they bust a move, but they would really show R&B music at it's best.

I think T-Boz finds it difficult to do a lot of physical activity now. She has sickle cell anaemia which means she gets tired very easily. It's quite sad that average life expectancy for someone with sickle cell is between 40 and 50. It's even worse that Tionne is now 40

Chilli has a show called "What Chilli Wants" on, I think, VH1 in America.

Ah yes, I forgot about T-Boz. I watched an interview about it with her in and it seemed awful, but she has overcame the odds so far.

I've seen a few adverts for What Chilli Wants, but she is younger and I believe that she was a dancer for Damian Dame when she was called up to replace this other woman to be in TLC, so she could be good to do DWTS.

I watched a bit of The Last Days of Left Eye, not knowing I had picked the one with the car crash so I couldn't bare watching it. It looked like it said that some boy died and she paid for the funeral costs, but I don't know much about it.

Yeah. A van Lisa was in - she wasn't driving it - hit a boy in Honduras and she paid for the funeral and such. Lisa believed she was meant to die because the kid had the same surname as her... strangely she died shortly after.

She was on Celebrity Apprentice a year or so ago, and she seemed ok on that.

CrazySexyCool Will Always Be A Fav. I can still listen to 'Diggin' On You A number of times in a row.
Was Released in late 94 but by the time that single came out it was one of the soundtracks of the summer of 95.

Did Beyonce ever acknowledge TLC as an influence for DC? TLC comepletely paved the way for them yet I don't think I have ever heard Beyonce even mention them. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Anyway, great to see a TLC appreciation thread. I have never loved a group so much as I have these three wonderful ladies. Every so often I go on YouTube and search for as many TLC-related videos as possible. Need to get my fix
I disagree though that Chilli is a weak vocalist. She has what I consider to be one of the most beautiful voices I've heard. Her voice is absolutely orgasmic on "Lets take Our Time" from CrazySexyCool.

^ Yes, she did. In this article that came out after Lisa died. Although, out of interest, why does it have to be Beyoncé acknowledging their influence on DC? Why not Kelly or Michelle?

I was never a big fan of TLC because I was quite young or wasn't born when they started, but since I've got older I now like a few of their songs. I still play No Scrubs regularly.

Well, Beyonce was like their spokeswoman really, but yeah of course it could be either Kelly or Michelle acknowledging too.
Thanks for posting that article, btw. I hadn't seen it before

Because she is the villain and always will be

It's laughable reading about Matthew Knowles. People forget that without him, there would have been no DC, no Beyonce, no Kelly, no Michelle, no Letoya, no Latavia and certainly no Farrah. The guy bust his arse off for years for them but i guess Letoya and Latavia were ungrateful and wanted to kick him as soon as they got a hit.

Whether you like it or not, Beyonce has IT. She is the whole package. The other girls don't. The girls are still best friends and that's what matters most.

Going to TLC, likewise, i was too young to know them and didn't really get to know their music until a few years back. Love no scrubs, creep, dear lie (ADORE IT)

I heard 'Ain't Too Proud To Beg' for the first time in ages on one of those radio channels on Sky recently. Still a top tune! I always liked 'Hat 2 Da Back' too.

Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg is so fun yet quite sad, because it was their first music video and I read in an interview that T-Boz and Chilli were nervous in front of the cameras but Left Eye wasn't because she just knew she was going to be a star.

Also really likeCase Of The Fake People. Who am I kidding I loved that whole album. I got it one Christmas when I was still at Primary School and must have listened to it hundreds of times. I love Creep and Diggin on you too. I lost my album years ago but this thread has just inspired me to go on Amazon and buy a new one. I'll look forward to blasting it out in my car in a few days time.

I love TLC only recently got into them loads, though I had heard some of their biggest hits before.

I ordered FanMail cause I found it for 1p plus £1.26 delivery on amazon so I got it cause I only had about £1.50 left on my card. But I get paid next week so I will buy CrazySexyCool then.

I listened to most of CrazySexyCool on youtube and I think that is a better album than Fanmail but I'm loving Fanmail too.

Waterfalls and Unpretty & No Scrubs are my favourites out of ones I'd heard but off the Fanmail album I'm loving I Miss you so Much and My Life, Shout, Come on Down. & I haven't actually finished the whole album yet cause I had to go out before I finished listening to it yesterday. So I'm just listening to it again now.

TLC= Legends!

Their CrazySexyCool medley in 1995 was the best VMA live performance ever. Absolutely rocked the house and their outfits were amazing.

They had the style, talent, sass and swagger that many artists nowadays would love to have. They dressed in the baggiest pants and still managed to ooze sexiness far more than most female artists of today.

I think during No Scrubs era both DC and Miss Xtina supported TLC on tour. How awesome would that have been? Shame that TLC never toured the UK.
