Considering Candy Cabs stayed pretty steady last week I'm surprised it fell so much. Countrywise and Smugglers did ok for ITV considering but they surely need to sort Tuesday nights out.CSI is a solid performer for Channel 5 but Channel 4 are not having a good time of it at the moment.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.
I don't think I've seen a party bounceback so quickly from an election defeat than Labour. I think if they had narrowly won last year it would've been a 1997-like result against them in 2015.

Likely to be a very long night and day as apparently the AV referendum result is likely to only be announced on FRIDAY evening!!!

I think the launch show will do reasonably well; I think it then depends on how people like it in comparison with the UK version.

It will depend entirely on the schedule. Will ITV2 want to air it at the same time as the UK version? Or will they do an "America's got Talent"? In which case the winner will be long known and could potentially reduce ratings.
But if they air it in the Autumn they risk having too much of the same thing and it all becoming a bit much for the viewers. It'll be a tough call no doubt.

It's only the local election, ITV don't bother to run an overnight programme for this and haven't for many years as interest is usually low.

Eastenders has been on form lately and the people that were slating it a few weeks back seem to be enjoying it.
Last nights episode got 11 pages in the episode thread and most seemed to enjoy it.
It was a nice Happy fun episode before the big drama kicks in on Thursday with the
Spoiler
plus the wedding running on both days.
Bryan Kirkwood has introduced some of the best additions to the cast in years and it seems that for the next few weeks the show will remain on fine form.
Not sure why Emmerdale was hit but could only assume the weather effected it and no doubt Eastenders got dented by the football

By "very low" you probably just mean a couple of million less than the usual 25m or so watching TV.

Classic case of a brand being milked to death with Nine basically commissioning unrelated one-off TV movies and dumping them under the Underbelly brand.

At that low surely it needs bumping out to 11pm - but the trouble is C4 just haven't got anything to bring in to replace it. BTW, how is Ricky Gervais doing on E4. I'd have thought after the success of Idiot Abroad that might get a boost this series after a lacklustre first year.

I'd assume BBC Wales/Scotland are doing their own thing, which in Wales at least will spill over to the Friday as most of North Wales at least are counting the next day.

Before you quote me you should get the facts right first.
I have quite a bit lately gave EastEnders bad reviews in episode threads and i have said how Feb was a rubbish month for the show
The start of march EastEnders picked up as that was down to a much needed 'big' storyline and now there's about 6 storylines all coming to a head over the next month or so.
