No, BARB report +1 viewing to a programme separately as they are separately reported channels. However, there is no stopping a user just adding the ratings for two showings together.

Very good for the football last night, as you'd expect. BBC One was evidently dented, but they'll still be more than happy with 4m+ across their offerings.

Cheers for that, daznov Makes for pretty grim reading for C4. The sort of "mission docs" Jamie specialises in were really popular for a few years, but I think the appeal has really faded recently. It makes for highly cliched TV. The big challenge for C4 is to find the next big factual genre for their highly paid "stars" to appear in. Otherwise, they're looking pretty silly with so many lowly-rating chefs and the like on their books.

Promising signs for the scheduling of Doctor Who - but I won't hold my breath where BBC schedulers are involved.

Should also note from that latest Press Office update that Masterchef concludes with a run across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - opening the slots for new shows the following week. ie. The Apprentice.

Seems a slightly odd length, that.

There's been some posts stating that Waterloo Road will be returning Wednesday 4th May alongside The Apprentice. If so this would be the shortest break for the show and I would guess the first 10 episodes would air then, with the following 10 in September followed by the next 10 in January, as the next series is 30 episodes long.

It was recorded in January in Studio 1 at Salford which is a huge studio of nearly 13,000 sq ft (bigger than anything at TVC) and was actually the first ''proper'' programme to be recorded at Salford Quays.Perhaps it was announced after it had actually been recorded. Anyhow they've been sitting on it since then which might be a clue.

Thats not long at all, thats actually quite short in comparison to other BBC formats, most BBC prerecorded entertainment shows are taped months in advance.
Some of the Lottery shows can be recorded 8 months in advance. the next run of would I lie to you? has been recorded and wont be on air until Summer. The BBC also have another series of Total Wipeout recorded also.

Knowing BBC though, it probably will end up being...”

The host Jason bradbury has been saying for months on Twitter that it was going to be an early Saturday night tea time show [ihole in the wall/walk on the wild side slot], starting in April.

Haven't the BBC recently taken over the Endemol West studios in Bristol, where Deal or No Deal is recorded?

I can only assume Waterloo Road is dirt cheap to produce given the length of orders it keeps receiving. I mean, the ratings are OK, but it seems remarkable the BBC are happy to commission so far into the future with it. It's a stark contrast to the strictly 6-8 episode 9pm dramas, and the increasing number of 3 or 4 parters.

The next series of Waterloo Road begins on 4th May for anyone wondering, although BBC won't directly confirm this: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2...d-be-back.html

I think it may end up turning into a near all year round show with a break for Summer and Christmas only.

Someone was wondering about Candy Cabs' breakdown. It was very steady throughout:

21:00 - 5.60
21:05 - 5.63
21:10 - 5.51
21:15 - 5.59
21:20 - 5.42
21:25 - 5.39
21:30 - 5.45
21:35 - 5.42
21:40 - 5.44
21:45 - 5.47
21:50 - 5.41
21:55 - 5.47

Bodes well for next week.

Real Madrid v Tottenham averaged 1.45m between 7-10.30pm. It peaked with 2.5m at 20:25.

So after a good start to the series for episode 1, ratings have dropped a lot.

Gosh, surely that was one game that should have "match-averaged" 10m - let alone peak at 10m. Especially with all the Rooney build-up.

Indeed, it didn't even peak at 10m because that includes ITV1+1 too.

Remember when big Champions League games used to get 12-17m viewers?!
