NEW HOME YEAH!!!!
I used to really like x factor but I don't know what happened since last year but matt has changed my mind on the x factor i'm not that keen on it now. I can see what you mean about matt and don't want him to be associated with it because the reason why i liked matt in the first place was because he was different to anything thats been on the x factor. Like Danni said matt wasnt your typical x factor contestant and that was the thing that I really liked about him because he wasnt fame hungry and only after the money like some of the the contestant like you nromally get on the x factor he was only in for the music and because he love to sing. Like some of you have said Matt shouldnt have had to auditioned for the x factor someone should have signed before now and I know that matt winning was the best for the x factor because Matt will give it the show a lot of creditability.
Sorry I feel like this a pointless post

Im glad about this joint deal but still happy Syco are someway involved. Like it or not X Factor are a machine and Matt would be lucky if he keeps getting invited back to perform.
And although my own musical tastes are DMB, Arcade Fire, Jeff Buckley etc. I really hate the whole focus on 'credibility'.
My own personal feelings are that Matt needs to concentrate on making great songs with a good hook and if he's deemed 'credible' or not so be it.
Look at the Kings of Leon- one of the biggest bands but have really lost their street cred. I doubt they care. Although admittadly thats a bad example from my perspective as I used to love the Kings back in their Aha Shake Heartbreak days but cant stand them now, guess Im just as bad

I know what you mean, but people were looking with different eyes at Highbarn and listening with different ears. Awareness changes perceptions.

it's the final X at the bottom of the page...in decision making for the contract maybe?

A combination of excellent lyrics & sound (Darwyn, 7S) good quality production etc..7S) performance skills..live etc, Highbarn is the cream of the crop IMO, for recording purposes, and wow factor don't you think mattadore?
