3 Network

Anyone (especially in Halifax) having problems with the 3 network?

Cant make or receive calls or text messages on any of my families phones!- We are all on 3 and customer service are refusing there is an issue! GRR!

Maybe it's just very localised to you, i.e your local mast. In which case the people on the phones might not necessarily be aware.

However the network engineers will usually know because these things are monitored and alerts will be raised in their operations centre. Usually these things are back up, fixed and running in a day or so and this is can happen occasionally on all networks.

You could always temporarily divert your calls to a landline, you should be able to do this by dialling the 3 number from a landline, entering your number and security code and then diverting or getting customer service to do it for you.

For example, I had a problem (running on the O2 network) in October or November for a day. That wasn't a localised fault and affected everyone on the Giffgaff virtual network.
