I really like the song that Stefano did, but I still wouldn't mind ditching the dude. He's the least interesting to me.

this is going to sound daft but when there were 24 of them i had trouble picking them down I thought they were all great! Now after just a couple of weeks, pia and thea are the only two girls i rate, and scotty, casey , jacob and james for the boys. I am completely at a loss as to how i ever thought paul was any good, in the last two shows he has been woeful imho of course and karen who i loved hasnt been any better either

What the he'll have they done with the sound levels? Turn the mics down so you can hardly hear them sing, then turn the mics up during an interview :/ Way to ruin the show. Maybe it was just the itv hd feed but you can hear them turn it up for the judges.

Poor Ryan. There has been at least one contestant of 6'2" or above for the past three years. James is 6'4".

I don't think he knows any other way. The only time he didn't go overboard was last week and he was as dull as a damp weekend in Dartford.

My problem with him exactly.

They turned the music up from when it first went out live, when you could hardly hear it. It was much better in general, from Thia onwards.

Maybe Casey wants to go home. Marks for guts and entertainment value though.

I think Haley suffered quite badly with the sound level, I think it would have been great, if only I could have heard it properly

I loved Scotty again, this week and James, I thought was pretty stand out too.

I wasn't feeling Pia for some reason and she lost it on the high notes again. Not that they're not in tune I just hate the tone.

Naima was awful again. I think she's a gonner this week.

Not liking Paul either.

Had to catch up with the performances on Youtube, as I'll miss the repeat show tomorrow, and ITV2 are only showing the repeated results show on Sunday, which is rather ridiculous IMO. They've always repeated both the performance and results shows on Sunday as well. Clearly, the trite TV that is The Only Way Is Essex is more worthy in ITV2's schedules.

Anyway, I haven't checked out all of the performances, simply because I'm not interested in most of them, after reading a variety of (mostly indifferent) comments on them, on another board..

Shame that Casey didn't think to go with a different arrangement of SLTS, and chose to shout/karaoke his way through it instead. An acoustic arrangement would have been cool, or even if he had just slowed it down. I wasn't impressed.

I thought Paul was going to be worse than what he was. Definitely better than last week. I am trying to get used to his dancing; I might just about be getting there.

Scotty was solid and sounded good, once again.

I didn't tune in for too long with Haley, I thought the arrangement was horrible. What the hell is Jimmy Iovine doing to these songs

I wasn't overly enthused about James either, considering the majority of comments praising him. Was OK, nothing special. Same with Naima.

I didn't bother with any of the others. Out of all the songs that could have been chosen, they were deadly dull picks. Mind you, I'm sure there probably weren't many choices given to the contestants, considering the same old songs get dragged out every time. So, props to Casey for getting to do Nirvana.

I had some high hopes for this season, but it's rapidly turning out like last season. I hope things pick up very soon.

Was thinking that he has time to improve his style, if he stays that is. Many singers started out rough, but as the years went by, they found their own styles, same could happen to any of the contestants if they are given the chance. If I were them I'd go it alone, just like others did before them.
