Sharp LC37SD1E & Virgin + HD (Samsung) HDMI incompatabillity
Hi experts!
I have Virgin+ HD now, a Samsung box with a Sharp LC37SD1E LCD TV. Virgin works ok via scart but HMDI will not work. The TV detects 1080i but will not display a picture. Virgin engineer said I'll need an HD Fury to get it to work as the Sharp TV does not support the security stuff in the signal. My question... what type of HD Fury do I need and is there a cheap alternative? My Sharp TV has a HDMI port, so I need a HD Fury type thing to have HDMI in and HDMI out... Or..... Do I then connect the HD Fury to the RGB 9 pin port? Advise appreciated
