Just recieved the Galaxy S today but its so difficult lol

I cannot download any apps. I read that its something to do with the google account you have to change it to gmail but how do you do that?

Is there anyway I could make my ringing tone longer as it only rings for like 10 seconds?

Is there a helpline I could call for someone to go over it with me?

Any help appreciated

Google mail was already installed on my Galaxy,just go to it and sign up to a gmail account then start downloading apps from the android market.

I have but the apps arent appearing anywhere. I have downloaded a few but nothing happens there not on my phone at all

Once they have been downloaded and installed, they should appear in the main menu with the rest of your apps. They won't appear on your home screens until you set up the shortcuts.

Also once they have downloaded you would get a notification at the top of your phone, think it looks like a little 'tick'. If you swipe the bar at the top down you should see the name of the app and can press on that to open it.
