I'd be amazed if it didn't have an analogue tuner - manufacturers haven't stopped fitting them as a number of devices do use RF - e.g. a Sky box output....

Having said that, others have posted that using the RF output on SKY does give a poor picture. That, coupled with the fact this is a budget set, may result in a poor picture.

Have you considered using a 'Video sender' e.g

which will probably give you a better picture.

i have got a sender but didnt really want to be using another 13a socket to power it and didnt really want the wireless pod visable, ive got an old 15in crt analogue tv in kithen at the moment and the pic from sky box rf is ok,mind you the crt dosent have a scart socket on it so rf is the only option
as you say id be surprised if that sainsbury tv didnt have a analogue tuner as well as dvb-t tuner, ive been trying to find out looking around the net but no joy as yet
cheers

NICAM is a form of stereo audio used only on analogue broadcasts so my guess is that it would have an analogue tuner - you could always take a look in-store.

and FWIW I have seen some pretty darn good results from the RF outputs on sky boxes (admittedly the antique gold Panasonic Sky box and the original Sky+ one), certainly better than my VideoSender managed with the dozen or so WiFi networks visible in the kitchen...
