What can a Blackberry do that a Sony Ericsson can't?
Are there any Sony Ericssons that you can receive your emails on like you can on a Blackberry?
Can I receive my emails on a Blackberry/Sony Ericsson that I get through my fsnet (Orange) account that I use on Windows Live Mail on my laptop? If so, will I still get the same emails on my laptop through Windows Live Mail?
Are all Blackberrys good for the internet eg can you get all or most websites up on them?

Having to pay £5 for a Blackberry Bolt-On (O2) kept me away.

For a BIS account. Your emails are routed through blackberrys servers, which costs the network. Not a user myself (A BB owner may want to correct me on this cause im not 100%) but you wont be able to use email, app world, BBM etc without one.

Chris is correct. You need a blackberry bolt-on [or blackberry specific tariff] to use email, BBM, app world, facebook twitter and google applications, and many other applications, and internet browsing.

I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i and it can access any IMAP or POP3 account (which I guess yours is). Personally I use Gmail and it works wonderfully.

So with the Blackberry, if I was on the unlimited texts and web tarrif, I would have to get a bolt on every month aswell as paying £15 for that tarrif?

Yes, if that isn't a blackberry-specific tariff.

I was shocked when I had to pay the £5 a month Orange Blackberry add on as I wasn't expecting it. I wouldn't swap my Blackberry for anything else though.

Or....you could be one of the "lucky ones" like me, that has recently bought a Blackberry (Bold 9780 - great little phone) - and is on £5 per month unlimited texts only with 02 PAYG - AND I can use the internet (NOT Wi-fi) and Blackberry Messenger without seemingly having the bolt-on for £5 per month!

I contacted 02 several times when I noticed I was getting this for "free" and they said it was some kind of "glitch" and because I was strictly PAYG there was nothing they could do about it!!!!!!!!

So, I must be one of the privileged few who isn't actually paying any kind of bolt on for this!

(Mind you if and when it stops (!) I will pay the £5 per month - I wasn't going to - but - obviously having got used to BB Messenger and GPRS internet I would miss it like hell if I didn't have it!!!!)
