I would still think it was down to who was actualy carrying out the headbanger ... I'm sure if Laura was being held by an amateur she wouldn't have had as much trust to do hold her body like she did .. and in the same way if Brianne was doing the headbanger with Colin she may not have held her head in such a way or had her arm out ....

Laura did her hadbanger great though .. although if we are comparing the two Brianne both took off and landed from an upright position .. Laura took off upright but ended it being placed on the ice .. so Sam's Headbanger was the more difficult option but Brianne obviously has the experience to come out of it uprght

Surprised Sam and Laura were marked the same on that routine - Sam had a far tougher job. Frankly I think he almost did a good a job as Colin - but Laura can do no wrong it seems (Emma in particular seems to lose all perspective - even when Sam beat her on the leaderboard she is still the 'best').

The reason Laura got the same score wasn't just because of the headbanger. Laura did a difficult routine lots of skating and big tricks then with the headbanger she had to do the take off which would be very difficult to do from standing position not to mention she acted the routine better. Laura's headbanger also didn't result in her hitting the ice where as Brianne's arm did and Sam's big lift looked a little shaky and his dancing wasn't great imo so I think Laura should have been higher. Just my opinion though.

Still sour grapes it seems. Laura skated brilliantly tonight, as did Sam.

Laura was miles better. I was surprised as well.

Can we now have Sam and Laura do the headbanger together!!

Well that's one way for Sam to eliminate his competition in the final.
