DVD Recorders
I have got hold of a 18month old dvd recorder and was wondering if I could connect it up to my other recorder to record 2 ptogrammes and if so what would the connections be.

As long as it has a connection to an aerial then it will be able to record programmes from it's built in tuner independently of any other recorder.
So you would need to plug the aerial into the RF in of recorder 1, the RF out of recorder 1 to the RF in of recorder 2 and the RF out of recorder 2 to the TV. Then connect each recorder via SCART or if available HDMI to the TV separately. By the way if the "new" recorder only has an analogue tuner and you live in a digital only area then it won't be able to receive any TV by itself. Which could complicate matters somewhat. |
