They've been allowing complete novices to do it since series one and even Bonnie cracking her head on the ice in rehearsals ddn't stop them from letting people do it every year so they've either got good insurance or they don't give a d*mn .. lol

I couldn't watch the headbanger -had to go out of the room in case I heard the thud of her head on the ice.

It is uncomfortable to watch and purely done for shock value.

No doubt they will only cancel it from the programme when someone's brains are splattered all over the ice.
