obviously with looks it's all down to personal opinion but I think she's a really pretty girl ... far more so before the DOI makeup department get their hands on her .. loved her Kss Kiss styling/makeup but she's been lumbered with some very dodgy hair styles/pieces

Neither female contestant is to my taste, but Chloe is quite plain in an inoffensive way whereas Laura is more striking. Both seem to be nice girls though but surely we should be judging on skating and imo (and clearly the judges) Laura has now proved she is better in several shows. Looks should be irrelevant, if the best perfomer and skater was unattractive - key examples Hayley Tammadon/Kyran Bracken, I'd still want them to win.

I think this thread was started as a bit of fun in response to a thread started about how beautiful Laura was ... think the intention was for people to post in support of each girl but as usual both threads have attracted the negativity along with the positivity ![]() I don't think it was the intention to compare the two or to judge them on their beauty .. or skating for that matter

Fun......its madness, why do people work themselves up over such things, its like they are taking it as a personal insult (why??) because their favourite is being threatened - so they need to put others down? Talking about looks when this is about skating could be construed as vacuous or shallow, as I said I think people need to focus on the skating and performance a little bit more. Perspective is needed too.......when you look at whats going on in the Middle East, Japan etc and people feel the need to resort to insulting contestants on a TV show on an internet forum. I hope the people that engage in this behaviour realise they need to get a grip.
In fairness I don't think many are actually getting worked up about it.. as for vacuous and shallow then I guess that's all of us who've commented in this thread about looks ... lol speaking of which I'm totally shallow when it comes to Michael Zenezini .. just as well I also think he's an awesome skater though .. to perhaps drag me out of shallowness

He's distinctive that's for sure.....I think you should choose him over Matt every day of the week. Out with the old in with the new!

I've donated to all the relief funds and I'm sure many other DOI posters have taken similar action. I wish I could do more but I'm doing what I can via monetary donations. I really don't think that seeking a little light relief by way of a light entertainment programme signifies ignorance or dismissal of world suffering. |

She still looks like her dad though.
you say "she still looks like here dad though" as if that's a bad thing .. I thought you were against derogatory personal comments being made about the contestants

She's a bit better than okay, but stunning is OTT. Good-looking, I would say.

Not at all, I think Richard Madeley is pretty good for his age.
I don't think Chloe is pretty at all, and certainly not stunning, she's just OK.that's fine although I do find it a tad hypocritical that only the other day you posted that you though I should be posting defending Laura from the posters calling her fat. You said you like to be fair and don't like personal comments being made about ANY of the contestants yet I don't see you defending Chloe from some obviousy OTT personal comments being made in here by a poster .. in fact you seem to be supporting/encouraging them ... which of course you're entitled too .. I don't expect you, or wish you to defend Chloe over any comments personal or not .. just thought it's a bit double standards considering your views on personal attacks on Laura
