I don't have any, I don't really care at the moment. Those who are my style, Casey, James and Paul, possibly Haley are sort of good to OK or bad, but nothing to blow me away. Pia and Stephano are boring, and then their is Scotty.
I love his voice, but country..really??? how lame are the lyrics of his last song!!!

Scotty seems to be the forum favourite, but I regret I am not a fellow fan. While I appreciate he's good at what he does, and he ought to be because his laid-back style doesn't require a huge effort, he provides me with the soporific entertainment value of listening to Jim Reeves on a loop. The lad looks and sounds like he's 65. I'm starting to find the deep growl annoying at the start of every lyric, emerging as it does from one side of his mouth, to the extent that after years of practice one side of his face has developed into more of a jowl than the other.
Of the remainder, I have been impressed so far by Pia, but she is possibly starting to go off the boil. The one I personally find the most entertaining, and the one who I think provides some of the most startling performances, is Jacob. There's an edge-of-the-seat, slightly deranged danger about him, brought about through his voice being so powerful and elastic that at times he doesn't have it under complete control. It's like he is possessed by it, supernaturally so, and every performance is an attempt at musical exorcism. Such a sweetie off stage, and a shaman on it.

Ummmm, noone really at the moment, although I am enjoying it (actually nice to watch without stressing out about a favourite getting through).
Paul - sort of like his voice, sometimes, not sure I'd actually buy it though and the teeth and dancing are distracting, and not in a good way.
Casey - want to like him much more than I do, he's musically very talented, thinks outside the box, but his voice isn't that great, the growl is very affected and there's no natural rasp there, for me his voice doesn't live up to his musical brain so I can see what he's going for, just the final execution seem to fall short.
James - doesn't annoy me as much as I thought, but he's bascially a solid, unspectacular vocalist with no 'hook' that makes his voice instantly recogniseable, and the thrown in shrieking is annoying.
Jacob - does have a good voice, but a million runs do not pleasant listening make (to my ears anyway), needs to reign it in and learn a bit of control, sometimes less is more.
Stefano - very club singer, decent voice, but nothing to get excited over.
Thia - pretty girl, pretty voice, very boring
Naima - actually, sort out her pitch problems and she could be interesting, want to like her more then I do at the moment.
Haley - can see what she's going for, but others do it better, and quite often I haven't the faintest idea of what she's singing
Pia - strongest girl, but sounds so dated at the moment, needs more interesting choices, very pagentry at the moment
Lauren - off putting personality and early pimping will cost her, she's not really my thing, but I could see a career for her.
Scotty - completely not anything I'm ever going to buy, however, he's potentially got a huge country career ahead of him, and a very definate musical identity (which quite a few of these lack) which he's sticking to.

"Pretty" and "boring" are the words I'd use to describe her. Randy got it right last week, comparing her performance to a pageant.
Pia or Lauren have the most potential to become successful recording artists. Idol always does better off its female winners. The male winners never really get anywhere, no matter how handsome or quirky they come across on the show.

I completely agree re: Paul, Leroy. As Isaid before, I like Stefano, and not everyone does, but to think he wasn't even picked originally, and Paul was?
Still happy with any of those I mentioned above as potential winners. I liked Karen as well, but obviously she can't win now. I seem to have more of a soft spot for Stefano and James than the others, but it doesn't make the others less talented lol

I do like Scotty though there's something so nice and pure about him.
Pia is the best singer, but she's a bit boring.
I like Thia's sound more it's so good but she doesn't seem that popular on here.

The difference between AI and our talent shows is so vast. EVERYONE has a good voice. On our shows we have people with very average voices or sometimes bad voices (Hi Wagner

I mean someone like Cheryl Cole, who contrary to what many people say, can sing in tune, would probably not make the second or third rounds. Her voice is beyond average. I know popstars the rivals was ages ago and talent shows weren't as big, but the standards were awful on the whole

Although I do really like Paul and am rooting for him, I'm not expecting him to go very far on the show, but I will be very pleasantly surprised if he does get to Top 5. I'd like to see Naima there too, but again, not sure if she'll stay for long.
I do like Scotty and I wouldn't mind if he won it. Out of the Top 11, I can see him and Pia and James in the Top 3.
LOL at Jacob, so true, he gets too carried away, even when he was more restrained this week, he still just overdid it, particularly with that end note.
As for Pia, when Randy and JLo made their comments about her doing a 2 hour concert (even 3hrs from Randy
) it immediately reminded me about why I never wanted to see Leona Lewis perform, when she toured last year,. My friend really wanted to see her, but I didn't want to know. I like her but I don't want to watch someone sing on the same spot for 2 hours, or just slightly walk to the left or the right of the stage. I like to see artists on stage with their guitars/instruments, or a show of some sort. I like to see movement on stage, basically.

I think James is being very favourably looked upon by Nigel & Co, and I think they would like him in the Top 5. He had a good week this week performance wise, getting the pimp spot, and the whole set-up with the wrestling segment in the Idol house, and then having his hero Hulk Hogan show up, and getting his ripped t-shirt (
). I've got to say, although I'm not a fan of Stefano or Thia as such, and Casey's and Jacob's schtick is wearing thin, no-one really offends me or riles me up (yet) so it's been quite an enjoyable season for me. So far.......
Sure, I've had my
moments, but not as many as I did by this time last year, with Lee DeWyze.
