Android Live wallpapers - Should it be listed on the battery usage report?
Can anyone tell me if when your using a Live wallpaper, that it should show up in the battery usage report on Android 2.3.1? As I've read a lot of reports with people saying that these wallpapers drain your battery, yet I'm not seeing any mention of it on the battery report.

Contrary to popular opinion, these Live Wallpapers only drain battery when they're visible. When your screen is switched off, they don't operate and therefore don't drain battery, and when they are "behind" an app, to the best of my understanding they don't operate either. So the only time you'll use battery with them is when you're sat looking at them, which probably isn't much over the course of a day.
