Except that they are world stars, and she is just some ex WAG from Newcastle. No one has heard of her outside of the UK, and maybe a few EU countries, so don't make out like she is some superstar.

Whoever is paying for this melodyned mess on a CD must be seriously challenged in the intelligence and musical taste departments. FAIL.

I believe you implied that the same people paying for Cheryl to record albums were the same as those paying for Ke$ha and Britney to do theirs, thus implying that Cheryl was in the same league as those two...(i.e Superstar (which she really really isn't)).

You'd have to be pretty unscrupulous to want to finance a Cheryl Cole album, given that you'd be deceiving innocent people into thinking that she can sing...

I meant people who buy the albums, i.e. the public. That was quite clear in my post.

She isn't the first and she isn't the last. Can Britney sing? No. Yet her albums are financed and 'deceive innocent people into thinking she can sing'.

Britney can sing which is more than Cheryl and Kesha can do. She is also a better dancer than Cheryl. I'm not a fan of Cheryl's although she has one or two decent songs, but you couldn't pay me to listen to an album by Kesha. Britney is not in the same league as those two.

Her singing style is very effected and she uses her trade Mark vocals. You only need to listen to the ballads on her first album and footage of her singing in her teens before she was signed to see that she can sing. She doesn't have a strong voice but she can sing a little.

Britney CAN sing. She is like Kylie, in the sense that she can sing ok-ish, but doesn't have the strongest voice. I'm pretty sure Britney could hold a tune, and she almost certainly could in her heyday.

Cheryl on the other hand just absolutely cannot sing. Hell, I reckon I could sing her songs live more in tune than she can, its embarrassing for her that she can't even sing her own songs in tune without needing to mime or have excessive auto-tune to cover it up...

Cheryl is the same as Britney and Kylie, she can sing ok, but doesn't have the strongest voice. She knows that herself.

Oh yes, the performance where there is obviously sound and hearing issues. Amazing how the rest of the Big Weekend performances are ok?

You don't need to have a great voice to be a great popstar. Cheryl and Britney might have weak voices, but they each have a nice tone to their voice, their studio vocals sound good, they have good songs and they're amazing performers. That's all a popstar needs.

I don't care if Cheryl mimes. In fact I would prefer it if she does!! And as for the autotune, it makes her sound worse but I can understand why she does it. Cheryl's voice sounds dire on record aswell. Cheryl is not on the same level as Britney when it comes to entertaining. I don't like Cheryl but I accept that other people do and that she is successful. Britney can sing though, regardless of whether she sings live or how she uses her voice on her records.

Are you having a laugh? All of her big weekend performances are diabolical and you'd have to be seriously delusional to believe that any of them are at all acceptable. She has SEVERE pitch and tuning issues the likes of which I have never ever seen.

Why do so many people hate Cheryl?

It's not like she came out of nowhere, she was put into the biggest British girl group of the 21st century by the viewers of Popstars: The Rivals.

If she was that bad, she wouldn't be famous today!

Thats debatable I say thats the Sugababes or even Atomic Kitten myself.
