I have absolutely no idea what my death row meal would be, but it would be one of the following:
- roast beef or chicken with all the trimmings, including yorkshire puds (not just with the beef)
- chili and garlic chicken noodles from Noodle Nation
- smoked chicken shreds and kung po chicken from the China Diner in Beaconsfield
- a home made pizza with pepperoni, peppers, onions and cherry tomatoes
- cottage pie with tinned carrots on the side
- venison steak
- beef steak with pepper sauce, mushrooms and mashed potatoes

It's such a long time since I had this as dover sole seems to have dissappeared from restaurants and shops and I've never been able to cook saute poatoes properly. Any tips?”

I have a bit of a cheat here - I use tinned potatoes! (TBH it's really the only thing they are good for!). I chop them into quarters and fry them with a little oil in a shallow frying pan. As they are already cooked, they only take a few minutes, so the timing with the rest of the meal is easy. Once I did them for a dinner party, and everyone loved them. Of course, I never confessed that they were tinned potatoes

Either...

A perfect bacon and egg sandwich, crispy (but not burnt) bacon, runny egg and a bit of brown sauce.

Duck in plum sauce, classic and perfect dish pretty much.

Slowcooked BBQ beef, amazing.
